Not everyone makes good choices -

It is of course a singualr case and should not be used as an argument - but I find interesting how far will people go.

Interesting (and sad) case. This may have been a case of genuine addiction to gaming, or there were other issues such as bipolar disorder or substance abuse. Of course, it could be that the guy was going for some sort of world record and died of a heart attack or stroke... I'd be curious about what the autopsy report shows.

I still believe that man should have been given a choice to do what he did.

I just don't see the rationale to moderate something like that. If he has the time and the desire to binge game for 72 hours, by all means, he can do what he wants.

Plus, if he is that irrational to actually want to put himself through that, and not know his limits, then he brought these consequences on himself.

It is really sad that he chose this path, however.

I think it is one instance, Like a freak accident. There is only so much emphasis you can put on things like this because it is not normal behavior
